Built in 1933 and nestled in the Wellesley Farms neighborhood, this home has evolved alongside its owners, reflecting their changing tastes and lifestyle over the years. Once a traditional family residence filled with cherished memories, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a stylish and welcoming space, blending classic charm with contemporary touches. Now designed for effortless entertaining, it provides the perfect setting for gathering with friends while also offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for their children to return and create new family memories.

The new design is a dramatic shift from its traditional roots, embracing a contemporary aesthetic, with clean lines and a neutral palette. The lounge sets the tone for lively gatherings, featuring a sleek white bar and playful disco ball. The fireplace, once framed by a traditional brick hearth, now boasts a striking Black Diamond stone surround, with dynamic original artwork by Melissa Meyer adding a burst of color above it.

We reimagined the home’s layout to enhance light and openness. Since the owners love natural light, the conservatory was transformed into the living room. Heavy drapes that once concealed views of the lush property were removed, and the large windows now flood the room with daylight. Walls painted in a soft charcoal tone create a sophisticated contrast against the gray-and-white furniture. In the kitchen, an abundance of traditional trim once made the space feel confined. Now, a sleek monochromatic design emphasizes height and openness. Throughout the home, outdated trim was replaced with crisp, white- painted crown molding, reinforcing the modern aesthetic.

In the bedroom, dark wood paneling gave way to a custom headboard upholstered in a light gray leather, extending across the wall for a sleek, tailored look. Art and statement lighting now play a central role in the home’s design, adding character and energy to every space. The result is a lighter, brighter, and effortlessly stylish home—one that invites connection, celebration, and the joy of new memories.
